<p>The present invention relates to a drum type washing machine with a vibration reduction structure, which has improved suspension and drive motor holding structures to minimize vibration caused by high speed rotation of a rotary drum, which is placed in a housing of the washing machine, during washing or spin-drying processes. The drum type washing machine comprises a housing which has a front door; a cylindrical water tub which is installed in the housing and accommodates supplied washing water; a cylindrical rotary drum which is installed in the water tub to be able to rotate; and a drive motor which is connected to the rotary drum by a power transmission means; two front suspension springs which connect the left and the right sides of the front part of the water tub to the bottom surface of the upper plate of the housing; and a rear suspension spring which connects the center of the rear part of the water tub to the bottom surface of the upper plate of the housing.</p> |
