<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of automatically executing a predetermined program when an operator is not present, and a control method.SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus according to an embodiment of this invention includes a sensor unit for detecting whether an operator is absent, a log information acquisition unit for acquiring log information including information on date and time on which the sensor unit detected the presence or absence of an operator, and information indicating whether the operator is absent, a scheduling unit for analyzing an operator absence time zone on the basis of the log information acquired by the log information acquisition unit and making settings so as to execute an execution target program during the absence time zone on the basis of the analysis result, and a program execution control unit for executing the execution target program during the absence time zone.</p> |
