PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purification apparatus provided with a prefilter and a main filter which allows grasping a clogging condition of the prefilter accurately, predicting replacement timing and protecting the main filter appropriately by replacing at appropriate timing.SOLUTION: A water purification apparatus includes a current detection portion which detects a change of the driving current of a booster pump supplying primary purified water flowing out of the prefilter to the main filter by pressurization and a data monitor control portion which monitors data obtained in the current detection portion, and the data monitor portion grasps a clogging condition of the prefilter and predicts timing of replacement of the prefilter.
