A photoelectric converter and optoelectronic connection device. The photoelectric converter comprises a housing, a drive controller (12) disposed on the substrate (11) of the housing, at least one information transmitting chip (13), and at least one information receiving chip (14). The information transmitting chip (13), under the control of the drive controller (12), converts into an optical signal an electrical signal needing to be transmitted, and sends same by means of the optical fiber (3) corresponding to the information transmitting chip (13). The information receiving chip (14), under the control of the drive controller (12), converts into an electrical signal the external input optical signal that has reached the receiving surface of the information receiving chip (14) and outputs said electrical signal, wherein the external input optical signal is transmitted by means of the optical fiber (3) corresponding to the information receiving chip (14). By means of arranging in the same photoelectric converter the information transmitting chip (13) and the information receiving chip (14), each information transmitting chip (13) sends information by means of a corresponding optical fiber (3), and the information receiving chip (14) receives information by means of the corresponding optical fiber (3), thus integrally achieving multi-channel optical fiber transmission. |
