Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus, a device and a system for controlling access to a wireless local area network, which relates to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: a first cellular network access point determining that a WLAN AP meets an access requirement of a UE; and sending instruction information to the UE to instruct the UE to access a WLAN, the instruction information comprising an identification of the WLAN AP or comprising the identification of the WLAN AP and an identification of at least one another WLAN AP, and a service provided by the at least one another WLAN AP being the same as a service provided by the WLAN AP. By means of the present invention, a UE can be instructed to quickly and effectively discover, select and access a WLAN; the problems that power consumption of the UE is fast due to the UE, an available WLAN cannot be effectively found and an air interface of the WLAN is in congestion are avoided; an action of the UE is easy to control, the efficiency is high and the implementation of the UE is easy. |
