This invention relates to an inhaler for metered spraying of a pharmaceutical agent preparation with an indicator, whereby the indicator has a metering ring that is mounted to rotate around an axis of rotation and that has indicator means for displaying a number of still available or already administered doses, whereby the metering ring can be moved or rotated by a triggering device of a pressure generator.
