PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality light source device that ensures sufficient heat dissipation when a plurality of high output semiconductor laser elements are arranged closest.SOLUTION: The light source device includes a plurality of semiconductor laser devices and a holding member. The semiconductor laser devices each have a semiconductor laser element, a mount on which the semiconductor laser element is mounted, a base on which the mount is eccentrically located on one side, and a pair of terminals electrically connected to the semiconductor laser element and eccentrically projecting from the base on the other side of the base. The holding member has holes arrayed in at least a pair of columns, thin film portions in which the holes are arrayed and which are formed by at least a pair of recessed portions on an opposite side, and thick film portions adjacent to the thin film portions. The semiconductor laser devices are mounted on one side, and the mounts of the semiconductor laser devices are arranged on the thick film portions. The pairs of terminals are exposed from the opposite side through the holes. |
