1296268 Urea derivatives BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 17 April 1970 [19 April 1969] 18371/70 Heading C2C The invention comprises urea derivatives of the formula wherein R is an unsaturated aliphatic radical and R<SP>1</SP> is a saturated or unsaturated aliphatic radical. They may be obtained by first reacting an aminophenol with a carbamyl halide of formula wherein X is halogen, and then reacting the resulting N-hydroxyphenyl-urea with an unsaturated aliphatic halide. An example is given for the production of the compounds. They are useful as herbicides for protecting crop plants from unwanted growth of weeds. They may be used in conjunction with conventional wetting or dispersing agents. Examples of their application are given. |
