PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate two-dimensional coordinates on the basis of a posture of an input device calculated by using a gyro sensor.SOLUTION: A game device obtains data from an input device comprising at least a gyro sensor and calculates two-dimensional coordinates corresponding to the data. The game device comprises posture calculation means and coordinate calculation means. The posture calculation means calculates a posture of the input device on the basis of angular velocity which the gyro sensor detects. The coordinate calculation means calculates a segment which extends a vector VZ which expresses the posture of the input device in a predetermined space and the coordinates of a point of an intersection R with a predetermined plane Q in the predetermined space as the two-dimensional coordinates.
