PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stabilized monoclonal antibodies for angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2) as ligands for Tie, a family of tyrosine kinases selectively expressed within the vascular endothelium and uses of such antibodies.SOLUTION: This invention provides stabilized antibodies directed to angiopoietin-2, and methods of preventing, treating, or managing cancer in an animal which uses such antibodies. This invention provides nucleic acid and amino acid sequences, hybridomas or other cell lines for expressing such antibodies.
