PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing a circuit scale and achieving operation of high image quality when filter operation is performed.SOLUTION: An image processing system for performing filter processing on an input image: converts the input image at N-fold speed and generates N-pieces of subframes; divides a filter coefficient region including a prescribed filter coefficient characteristic into M (M<=N)-pieces of pixel groups and allocates them to N-pieces of subframes; performs filter operation by using the allocated filter coefficient region on N-pieces of subframes; and outputs a value obtained by multiplying a result of each filter operation in N-pieces of subframes obtained by filtering by N.
