PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data line driver capable of improving gradation voltage rising and falling characteristics when image data changes.SOLUTION: This data line driver includes: a first data storage and a second data storage sequentially storing therein continuously supplied image data; a DAC performing D/A conversion on image data stored in the first data storage, and outputting an analog image signal; an amplifier amplifying the image signal output from the DAC to generate an output signal, and supplying the output signal to a gradation voltage output terminal; a subtraction unit calculating a differential value between the image data stored in the first data storage and the image data stored in the second storage; a timing pulse generator generating a timing pulse based on the differential value calculated by the subtraction unit; and a charge supply circuit supplying electric charge to the gradation voltage output terminal in accordance with the timing pulse generated by the timing pulse generator.
