A control method causes a computer of an information apparatus to: display a display screen representing a floor plan on the display; display device icons on the display screen, the device icons including an air purifier icon; when selection of the air purifier icon is sensed, display an operation screen for operating an air purifier corresponding to the selected air purifier icon on the display, the operation screen being displayed on the display screen and outside of a region corresponding to a room where the selection of the air purifier icon is sensed; output a control command for operating the air purifier to the network based on an operation on the operation screen; and display an operation state of the air purifier in the region corresponding to the room where the selection of the air purifier icon is sensed based on the operation on the operation screen.

the method causing a computer of the information apparatus to: display on the display a display screen representing a floor plan of a building; display on the display screen device icons respectively representing the one or more target devices, the device icons including an air purifier icon that represents an air purifier; when selection of the air purifier icon is sensed, display on the display an operation screen for operating an air purifier corresponding to the selected air purifier icon, the operation screen being displayed on the display screen and outside of a region corresponding to a room where the selection of the air purifier icon is sensed; output a control command for operating the air purifier to the network based on an operation on the operation screen; and display an operation state of the air purifier in the region corresponding to the room where the selection of the air purifier icon is sensed based on the operation on the operation screen.
