<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique in which recording position deviation between nozzle rows can be corrected by recording a small number of test patterns in a recording device with a nozzle head including plural nozzle rows in each of that plural nozzles are arranged linearly.SOLUTION: The recording device includes a nozzle head, relative movement means which moves relatively a recording medium and the nozzle head in a first direction and a discharge control part. The nozzle head includes plural nozzle rows in each of which plural nozzles are arranged linearly in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The discharge control part distinguishes a band-like area F extending in the second direction on the recording medium into a reference area F1 and an adjustment area F2. A reference pattern P1 is recorded from a reference nozzle row at least with the reference area as the target, and an adjustment object pattern P2 is recorded from an adjustment object nozzle row with the adjustment area as the target. Comparing the reference pattern P1 with the adjustment object pattern P2, recording position deviation between the nozzle rows can be corrected.</p> |
