The present invention relates the technical field of display, and provides a display panel, which can implement selective switch between color transparent display and black and white transparent display. The display panel comprises: a display unit for conducting displaying, the display unit comprising multiple pixel units (13); and a color change units (5) corresponding to the positions of the pixel units (13) of the display unit, the color change unit (5) being made from an electrochromic material; and a color control unit (15) for controlling color change of the color change units (5). Also provided is a display device having the display panel. The display panel and the display device use novel color change units, so that the display panel and the display device can be selectively switched between color transparent display and black and white transparent display. |
