<p>[Problem] To provide a phase-digital converter with which reduced power consumption is possible. [Solution] This phase-digital converter (1) has: first to 2n-th (n is an integer equal to 1 or greater) sample/hold units which, in sync with a reference symbol, sample and hold a multiphase periodic signal of first to 2n-th phases, and generate first to 2n-th multiphase phase signals; a selector which selects a signal period of monotonic increase or monotonic decrease contained in the first to 2n-th multiphase signals, for each of 1/2ncycles, on the basis of an n-bit first digital signal, and generates a monotonically changing signal; and a quantizer for quantizing the monotonically changing signal to an (m–n)-bit (m is an integer equal to 2 or greater, and m > n) second digital signal.</p> |
