According to the present invention, a polypropylene resin for a protective film has an ethylene content (a) of 10-20 wt%. The ratio (b/a) of an ethylene content (b) in a solvent extract (a xylene solvent at 135°C) with respect to the ethylene content (a) is 3-4. The polypropylene resin has excellent releasing properties with respect to an adhesive layer and has an excellent effect of reducing generation of fish eyes. Therefore, the polypropylene resin can be applied to a protective film for a backlight unit having surface micro-protrusions such as a prism sheet, a microlens film, a pattern light guiding plate, and a diffusion plate. |
