<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency filter which can inhibit propagation of an unnecessary electromagnetic wave and is easy to be manufactured with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A high frequency filter comprises a substrate 2 provided in a cavity 1, a conductor patch 3 mounted on a surface 2a of the substrate 2 and conductive poles 4 embedded in the substrate 2 with top edges contacting with an undersurface of the conductor patch 3. A dimension D1 in a shorter direction of a cross section of the cavity 1 is determined based on a distance W1 from the center of the conductive poles 4 to an open end 3a of the conductor patch 3 and a dielectric constantεof the substrate 2 so as to prevent an electromagnetic wave from propagating in a longer direction of the cross section of the cavity 1 in a plane including open ends 3a, 3b of the conductor patch 3 and the conductive poles 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
