<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance measurement accuracy of three stimulus values X, Y, Z calculated by using a color-matching function even when a white light source having a sharp peak is used as an illumination device. <P>SOLUTION: A plane to be measured is illuminated by using a first white LED light source (LED 1) which has a peak of spectral luminance distribution adjacent a wavelength where a peak of Z-value of the color-matching function exists (around 460 [nm]) and a half width thereof is smaller than the half width with respect to the peak of Z-value of the color-matching function; and a white LED light source (LED 2) which has a peak value lower than the peak of the LED 1 and the peak of the wavelength is displaced toward the side where a wavelength band portion exists (approx. 425-445 [nm]) where a wavelength band corresponding to the spectral luminance distribution half width of the LED 1 in the wavelength band corresponding to the color-matching function half width does not overlap with wavelength band thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
