A cover (25) is intended to be attached to a housing (2) of a heat exchanger (1). The cover (25) comprises a wall (26) that is intended to close off an orifice (5) for introducing a heat exchange core into the housing (2). The wall (26) is configured to allow the cover (25) to be attached removably to the housing (2) and has a raised edge (27). The cover (25) also comprises means (30) for mechanical reinforcement of the wall (26).
