<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The press (10) has printing units (13) arranged downstream to a roll changer (12). A terminal (14) is arranged downstream to each printing unit and designed as projecting extension arm or cutting unit or folding device. A control system (15) controls and/or regulates the operation of the press. The system has a generation device (22) that automatically generates a command for automatic activation of a net counter (20) of the control system from signals existing in the operation of the press such that a number of good samples that are produced in the press are automatically countable. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a system for producing print products with a web-fed printing press. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Web-fed printing press. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The generation device of the control system automatically generates the command for automatic activation of the net counter of the control system from the signals, which are present during operation of the press, such that the number of good samples that are produced in the press are automatically countable, thus providing two counter readings of independent net counters when a printer activates a net counter of a processing machine.
