#CMT# #/CMT# The panel has an information facade (1) equipped with luminous units constituted by LEDS. A protection element (2) is fixed on the facade to cover a rear face of the facade. A battery provides power supply to the panel. A control unit controls the luminous units connected to a triggering device i.e. vehicle detection radar, so as to activate the luminous units. The facade and the protection element define a functional inner space whose inner side accommodates the battery, the triggering unit and the control unit. A polycrystalline type photovoltaic panel assures recharging of the battery. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Luminous traffic information panel for use at an urban agglomeration entry and at paths of educational institution and sports center for indicating vehicle speed limit. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The facade and the protection element define the functional inner space whose inner side accommodates the battery, the triggering device and the control unit so as to reduce the encumbrance of the panel, while allowing the battery, the triggering device and the control unit to be invisible and inaccessible to permit the panel to be less exposed to theft. The panel can be installed easily and rapidly, and reduces encumbrance on the height of the mast. The mechanical and electrical connections of the panel are carried out before installing the panel on site, thus allowing an installer to assemble the panel on a mast in an easy and rapid manner. The panel is autonomous in power supply, so that the panel does not need to be connected to an external power supply for recharging the battery. The implantation of the photovoltaic panel in the protection element provides aesthetic appearance to the information panel and improves compactness to the information panel.
