Disclosed is a filtering tower. According to the present invention, the filtering tower is formed to filtrate breeding water for aquatic organisms. The filtering tower comprises: a cover having a water supplying pipe into which the breeding water flow; a filtration basket that is formed on a lower side of the cover to allow the breeding water to enter therein, includes a plurality of penetration holes formed on the bottom, and is filled with a filtering material; a lower end sump which is formed under the filtration basket to allow the breeding water to enter therein and includes a water discharging pipe through which the breeding water is discharged formed on one side thereof; and an adjusting means which is mounted on the bottom of the filtration basket and is formed to close and open the whole or portion of the penetration holes. According to the present invention, the mode of the filtering tower can be easily converted from a dry type to a wet type or vice versa. The filtration basket and the lower end sump are formed to be able to be assembled. Therefore, the filtering tower can be easily manufactured in the size a user desires; and maintenance of the filtering tower such as the filtering material replacement easy. |
