The present invention relates to a water purifier with a cold-water module and an operating method thereof. According to an aspect of the present invention, the water purifier with a cold-water module comprises: a cold-water tank storing a coolant; the cold-water module with an evaporator arranged in the cold-water tank and exchanging heat with the coolant; a cold-water pipe through which water exchanging heat with the coolant in the cold-water tank flows; a stirrer stirring the coolant; a first temperature measuring unit to measure the temperature of ice generated on the surface of the evaporator; a second temperature measuring unit to measure the temperature of the coolant in the cold-water tank; and a control part changing the operation cycle of the stirrer based on one of a second temperature measured by the second temperature measuring unit and outside temperature. According to the present invention, the water purifier with the cold-water module is capable of maintaining the collection amount of cold water at a proper level or more, and is capable of easily maintaining the collected cold water in a proper temperature range. |
