The present invention relates to an optical semiconductor illuminating apparatus capable of obtaining a dimming effect with low costs in any environment by giving a dimming function to a bulb type illuminating apparatus using an optical semiconductor as a light source. The present invention includes a housing which includes a socket base on the lower side thereof, a light emitting module which is arranged on the upper side of the housing and includes at least one semiconductor optical device of an AC direct driving method, an optical member which is arranged on the upper side of the housing, and a dimming unit which is formed in the housing and varies the luminous flux of the semiconductor optical device. |
