<p>The present inventive concept relates to an intra refresh method for video encoding and a video encoder for performing the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a video encoder which may divide a first frame into a plurality of regions and calculates weight values of the regions. In addition, the video encoder may selectively set a macroblock included in a second frame as an intra macroblock according to the calculated weight values.</p> |
