<p>The present invention provides a capacitor assembly including a solid electrolytic capacitor element within a multi-layered casing. The casing includes a capsule layer on the capacitor element and a moisture partition layer to be arranged on the capsule layer. An inventor of the present invention discovered that the capacitor assembly has electric properties at high moistures (ex, relative moisture is 85%) and a mechanically stable state by controlling materials used in the casing observantly. For example, the capsule layer can be formed from a thermoplastic resin (ex, epoxy) which can supply mechanical stability to the capacitor element. Likewise, a moisture barrier layer can be formed from a hydrophobic material.</p> |
