<p>The present invention relates to a composition for skin whitening. To this end, the present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for skin whitening including a compound represented by chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, hesperitin shows whitening effect by inhibiting synthesis of melanin, thereby being used as a pharmaceutical composition, a skin external application, a cosmetic composition, or a health food.</p> |
