<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet for a can barrel having excellent redraw formability which can further promote the thinning and lightening in weight of a beverage can, and, in which, even if the ratio between can height and can barrel diameter is made hither than that of the conventional one, fracture is not caused at the can bottom upon redraw forming, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the aluminum alloy sheet for a beverage can, a projecting type grounding part is formed at the bottom part of a can barrel, and the R diameter of the grounding part is≤2.0 mm. The aluminum alloy sheet has a composition comprising 0.1 to 0.5% Si, 0.3 to 0.7% Fe, 0.05 to 0.5% Cu, 0.5 to 1.5% Mn, 0.4 to 1.5% Mg, 0.001 to 0.05% Cr, 0.05 to 0.5% Zn and 0.001 to 0.05% Ti, and in which a difference between tensile strength and proof stress is≥30 MPa, also, an elongation percentage is≥6%, and AB proof stress is≥240 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
