<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in order to reduce lowering in the temperature of an object due to heat radiation from its surface, the surface temperature of the object is lowered to reduce its heat radiation quantity since the heat radiation quantity becomes large (about fourth power) as a temperature difference with the circumference increases, however the system of reducing the surface temperature necessarily requires time and effort and cost. <P>SOLUTION: The coating material is obtained by mixing metal powder and a solvent with a vehicle which contains as the main component, alkoxy siloxane undergoing curing reaction by moisture in the air. The mixing amount of the metal powder is 10 to 65 pts.vol. based on 100 pts.vol. of the vehicle.
