<p>[Problem] In the case of molten metal comprising multiple metals having different specific gravities, it has not been possible to develop an alloy, as a result of segregation caused by the force of gravity, for example. [Solution] A cooling method for casting that is performed using a casting mold (10), wherein a cooling water supply pipe (30) is installed so as to penetrate and pass through an interior space in the casting mold (10), said cooling method for casting being characterized in that after molten metal has been introduced into the casting mold (10), a cooling medium is run through the cooling water supply pipe (30), thereby rapidly cooling the molten metal.</p> |
