<p>Unit consists of vessel with inlet and outlet pipes, between which are spaced electrodes. These occupy whole cross-section of vessel and are below inlet and above outlet. They consist of numerous thin plates, on framework, inclined to vertical. Equisized and uniformly spaced openings are formed between them. Each electrode is connected to opposite terminals of current supply. Improved contact is obtained between bubbles and solids and/or immiscible liquids, and unit is pref. used for waste water treatment.</p> |
