<p>The present invention provides a routing system of a large sensor network using a virtual grid and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the routing method of a large sensor network sets a sink node as an original point of the virtual grid and transfers distance information with adjacent nodes on two or more neighboring nodes within a wireless transception range of the sink node on which a short address is set to the sink node. A short address is set by selecting two or more nodes which are located at the closed distance around the sink node as an X-direction neighboring node and a Y-direction neighboring node based on the distance information with the neighboring nodes of the received neighboring node. And, the short address is set to the node which is located at the closest distance from the X-direction neighboring node and the Y-direction neighboring node, and the short address of the node which is located at the closest distance among nodes located in the X-direction or the Y-direction from the node on which the short address is set. The sensor network is expanded and connected in a virtual grid type from the sink node by performing these processes repeatedly.</p> |
