<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify attachment/detachment of a latch and to reliably prevent separation in a use state, in a chair for pulling a skin material (cover material) into a back panel and the like with a fastener to hold it. <P>SOLUTION: The fastener 16 has a strip-like shape, and an engagement hole 30 as an engagement part is formed. A slit 33 where the fastener 16 penetrates is formed on the back plate 6, and an engaging pawl 35 to which the engagement hole 30 is fit is provided at the part of the slit 33. A guide projection 38 is provided on the opposite side to the engaging pawl 35 across the slit 33. The fastener 16 is deformed while being guided by the engaging pawl 35 and the guide projection 38 by being pushed to the slit 33, and when pushed completely, is recovered and the engagement hole 30 is engaged with the engaging pawl 35.
