<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating system capable of performing heating at high efficiency of energy without insufficiency in heating capacity and more simplifying the entire system, in the heating system obtained by combining an electric heat pump with another heating device. <P>SOLUTION: The heating system includes: a combustion heat source machine 20 including a combustion heater 22 and a heating source controller 21; a heating heat radiator 30; a heat exchanger 13; an electric heat pump 12; and an operation state setter 40 capable of setting an operation state of the heating heat radiator 30. The operation state setter 40 and the heating source controller 21 are connected with each other by a first communication line L1 in a manner allowing communications. The electric heat pump 12 is connected by a second communication line L2 so as to be controllable from the heating source controller 21. The heating source controller 21 controls the combustion heater 22 and the electric heat pump 12.
