<p>A fastening assembly having a base 1 with optical transmission and/or receiving means, an optical conductor 3 within a carrier 2 that is connectible to the base via a bayonet catch, secured in a twisting manner to a rib 4 and groove 5 assembly. Alternatively, the optical conductor may be connected to the base by a latched connection 3.1, or the latched connection may work in conjunction with the bayonet catch. The bayonet catch may have projections 1.3 on the base that slide into insertion channels 2.5 in a sleeve 2.3 of the carrier. The bayonet catch may be twisted such that the projections are retained beneath an undercut 2.4 in the carrier. The base, the carrier, a motor vehicle and a method, for use with the transmission and/or receiving means are claimed.</p> |
