<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in uniformity of charge distribution and charging stability even when high-speed printing is carried out for a long period of time, and showing high developability. <P>SOLUTION: The toner contains at least toner particles produced in an aqueous medium and an inorganic fine powder. The toner particles contain at least a binder resin, a colorant and a nonionic surfactant; and the binder resin contains a polyester resin produced by using a titanium compound as a catalyst. When an extraction amount of the nonionic surfactant extracted with methanol from the toner is denoted by A and a theoretical specific surface area of the toner obtained from the particle diameter distribution is denoted by B, a ratio of A to B is in a specified range. The nonionic surfactant contains a block copolymer of alkylene glycol; and the block copolymer of alkylene glycol has a number average molecular weight of 1200 or more and 40000 or less measured by gel permeation chromatography. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
