To appropriately eliminate, without using hot gas, the separation of liquid refrigerant and refrigerating machine oil into two layers inside an accumulator in a refrigeration apparatus that uses R32 as a refrigerant. An air conditioning apparatus (10) that uses R32 refrigerant is equipped with a compressor (20), indoor heat exchangers (50), an outdoor expansion valve (41), an outdoor heat exchanger (30), an accumulator (70) that separates the refrigerant into gas refrigerant and liquid refrigerant and accumulates surplus refrigerant, a branching pipe (62), an electrically powered valve (63) and a heat exchanger (64) for injection, and a first injection flow path (65) and the like. The injection-use heat exchanger (64) causes the refrigerant flowing through a main refrigerant flow path (11a) and refrigerant that has passed through the injection-use electrically powered valve (63) of the branching pipe (62) to exchange heat. The first injection flow path (65) is a flow path that guides the refrigerant that has flowed through the branching pipe (62) and exited the injection-use heat exchanger (64) to the accumulator (70), and a distal end of the first injection flow path (65) is located in a height position separated by a dimension of 0 to 0.3 times the height dimension of an inside space of the accumulator (70) from a bottom of the inside space. |
