The present invention relates to a ductile cast iron pile to simultaneously transmit a tensile force and a compressive force and a method for constructing the same. The ductile cast iron pile is characterized in that ductile cast iron piles are connected by a steel pipe casing which is permanently left in the ground, wherein the connection parts of the ductile cast iron piles are coupled by binding coupling projections of a column lower part and coupling grooves of a column receiving unit of a head unit of the ductile cast iron pile in construction of site installation ductile cast iron pile, thereby simultaneously transmitting a tensile force and a compressive force and having stability. Furthermore, the ductile cast iron pile can secure constructability and safety. |
