<p>The present invention relates to a video recording system and a video recording method for a vehicle, wherein the video recording system comprises: multiple cameras obtaining video data on the interior and the exterior of a vehicle; at least one sensor generating an impact signal when sensing an impact generated from the interior or the exterior of the vehicle; a control part storing the video data transmitted from the cameras when the impact signal is transmitted from the sensor during the operation of the vehicle in a parking monitoring mode, and extracting the video date when ignition-on is detected in the vehicle; and an output part outputting the video data when controlled by the control part. According to the present invention, the video recording system and the video recording method for a vehicle are capable of detecting and tracing a moving object corresponding to an external stimulation by recording the video data on a front, a rear, and a side collision generated when a vehicle is parked, thereby identifying the cause of an accident generated when the vehicle is parked.</p> |
