<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new photocatalyst substance generation apparatus and photocatalyst substance generation method, for generating a lot of high-quality photocatalyst substance by a chemical reaction inside optical-high electric-field plasma in a high-density ozone medium state having very high oxidative capacity. <P>SOLUTION: In this photocatalyst substance generation method and photocatalyst substance generation apparatus, a pair of electrodes 1, 2 opposed through a dielectric 3 is provided in a discharge gap 4 supplied with a gas based on oxygen gas, an AC voltage is applied between the electrodes, oxygen gas containing ozone gas is generated by generating a dielectric barrier discharge (a silent discharge or a creeping discharge) in the discharge gap, and metals or metal compounds 5, 6 are reformed into the photocatalyst substance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
