<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring behavior of a club head that can estimate a contact point between a face surface and a ball at impact. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes steps of: attaching at least three marks Ma, MB, and MC to a face surface of a head 2 of a golf club; obtaining multiple pieces of two-dimensional data of the marks at least two points in time of the club head 2 which is moving, with multiple cameras 3A, 3B, and 3C; identifying positions of the marks on three-dimensional coordinates from the multiple pieces of two-dimensional data; identifying the face surface from positional data of three or more marks on the three-dimensional coordinates; and identifying time of a contact of the face surface with the golf ball 6, by updating in a time series a positional relationship of the face surface and the golf ball 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
