<p>Uplink-downlink (UL-DL) interference management may benefit various communication systems, such as communication systems of the third generation partnership project (3GPP) long term evolution advanced (LTE-Advanced) release 12 (Rel-12). More specifically, certain methods and apparatuses may provide LTE time division duplex (TDD) enhancement for DL-UL Interference Management and Traffic Adaptation (TDD eIMTA). A method can include determining whether to activate or deactivate TDD eIMTA, or other dynamic TDD, in a cell. The method can also include informing at least one neighbor cell regarding a decision to activate or deactivate TDD eIMTA or other dynamic TDD.</p> |
