The present invention relates to a battery system, a control method of the same, and an energy storage system including the same, wherein the battery system enables a master BMS to set up the IDs of slave BMSs. The control method of the battery system, which includes a slave BMS for controlling a battery tray containing one or more battery cells and a master BMS for controlling a plurality of slave BMSs, comprises: a synchronization signal transmission step in which the master BMS transmits a synchronization signal; a response signal transmission step in which a slave BMS corresponding to a battery tray receives the synchronization signal and transmits a response signal to the master BMS when the battery tray is mounted; an ID transmission step in which the master BMS receives the response signal and transmits ID information about the slave BMS to the slave BMS; an ID setting step in which the slave BMS receives the ID information and sets the ID information as its own ID; and a routine execution step for repeatedly executing the response signal transmission step, the ID transmission step, and the ID setting step whenever a new battery tray is additionally mounted. |
