<p>The present invention relates to a stereoscopic data generating apparatus and, more specifically, to an apparatus and a method for generating 3D data by replacing a portion of scanning data on an object with a preset shape. The stereoscopic data generating apparatus according to an embodiment of the invention comprises: a data input unit which receives scanning data obtained by scanning a target; an analyzing unit which analyzes the inputted scanning data to determine a portion to be replaced from respective portions constituting the target; and a stereoscopic data generating unit which generates stereoscopic data by applying a replacement shape selected from a plurality of prestored replacement shapes to the portion which is determined to be the portion to be replaced.</p> |
