<p>An electronic device and a control method thereof are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electronic device enters a mode for measuring a distance from the ground when a specific input is received, determines whether a touchscreen is perpendicular to the ground, and may measure and display a distance between a specific area and the ground when an input to the specific area is received through the touchscreen in a state where it is determined that the touchscreen is perpendicular to the ground. Therefore, the electronic device may be utilized as an apparatus for measuring a flexible length.</p> |
