A distributor of flowable material 10, features a pair of inter engaging oppositely rotating rotors 48, 50 with lobes 60, and an enclosure 16 with one or more inlets 36 and outlets 38, the outlets 38 at or around a location opposite on the enclosure 16 to the inlets 36. The use of rotors 48,50 with lobes 60 within an enclosure 16, may provide a smooth and consistent flow of material out of the outlets 38, which may be important in the food industry for portion control of food fillings into outer edible cases. The overall structure may also provide for easy dismantling for cleaning the inside of the enclosure. The flowable material may be a food product such as meat or fruit, going into a pastry casings of various types. |
