<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior wall structure of a building, such as a house, having high waterproofness and capable of being constructed easily. <P>SOLUTION: An exterior wall structure of a building in this invention is provided with a ventilation space 3 between a wall substrate 2 composing a wall surface and an exterior wall part 1 formed by an exterior wall material 10 installed to the wall substrate 2. In the exterior wall part 1, a communication port 4 for allowing the ventilation space 3 to communicate with the outside is installed. The total of the opening area of the communication port 4 relative to the wall surface area is 65 cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or more. The communication port 4 reduces pressure difference between the ventilation space 3 and the outside, which can prevent intrusion of wind and rain, so as to form the exterior wall structure having high waterproofness and capable of being constructed easily. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
