<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform color correction of an input image signal in a high accuracy with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A color correction device includes: a linear matrix color correction unit 4 to perform first color correction by linear matrix conversion processing on RGB signals; a lookup table color correction unit 5 to perform second color correction by a lookup table after receiving the RGB signals corrected in the first color correction; a spectrometer 9 to measure a spectral characteristic of a light source; a light source estimation unit 10 to estimate the light source based on the light source spectrum which is the measurement result; and a coefficient setting unit 11 to store a linear matrix coefficient and a lookup table coefficient determined corresponding to the light source type, read the linear matrix coefficient and the lookup table coefficient corresponding to the estimated light source, and set the coefficients to the linear matrix color correction unit 4 and the lookup table color correction unit 5 respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
