<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methacrylic resin composition having excellent property characteristics such as molding processability and secondary processability, and to provide a method for producing the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The methacrylic resin composition has≥4,900 Pa s of a viscosity measured under a condition of 240°C of a resin temperature and 4 rad/s of an angular velocity by using a rheometer, and≤1,450 Pa s of the viscosity measured under a condition of 240°C of the resin temperature and 100 rad/s of the angular velocity. Preferably, the methacrylic resin contains 80-99 wt.% of a methyl methacrylate monomer unit and 1-20 wt.% of at least one kind of other vinylic monomer units copolymerizable with the methyl methacrylate, has 80,000-230,000 of a weight average molecular weight measured by gel-permeation chromatography (GPC) of the methacrylic resin, and contains 7-30% of components having the weight average molecular weights of≤1/5 of the peak weight-average molecular weight (Mp) obtained from a GPC elution curve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
